TownDine uses Google Sign-In only to authenticate users and receive basic profile information such as name, email address and profile picture. TownDine does not receive or store the user's Google password.

We use this basic profile information solely to create and identify your TownDine account, show your name in your dashboard and orders, and send order-related communication. You may sign in with a phone number or email instead if you prefer not to use Google.

We store your account identifier, sign-in method, verification status and basic account activity (such as sign-in timestamps) so that your orders and saved addresses remain linked to you and to protect your account from unauthorised access. Passwords, where used, are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider and are never visible to us in plain text.

When you place an order, the partner restaurant receives the details it needs to prepare your order, and the assigned delivery person receives the details needed to deliver it — typically your name, phone number, delivery address and order contents. Partner restaurants also provide us with their own business, menu, pricing and payout information, which is handled separately from customer data.

We keep a record of your past and current orders, including items, amounts, order status, fulfilment type (delivery or store pickup), cancellations and refunds. This lets you track orders, reorder easily and lets us resolve disputes and support requests.

Online payments are processed by third-party payment providers. TownDine receives and stores only payment references and status information — such as a transaction or order reference, payment method type, amount, and whether the payment succeeded, failed or is pending.

TownDine does not store complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking passwords or any other secret banking credential. Those details are entered directly with the payment provider and are never available to us.

We automatically collect technical information such as device type, browser, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from it, pages visited and error or security logs. Cookies and similar browser storage keep you signed in, remember your cart and delivery preferences, and help us detect abuse.

• Sending order confirmations, status updates and delivery or pickup notifications.
• Providing customer support and handling cancellations, refunds and complaints.
• Verifying payments and preventing fraud, misuse and abusive ordering behaviour.
• Maintaining, securing, debugging and improving the platform.
• Sending offers or promotions where you have chosen to receive them.

• Partner restaurants and delivery personnel — only the information necessary to accept, prepare and complete your order.
• Payment providers — to process payments, verify their status and issue refunds.
• Service providers — hosting, database, messaging and analytics providers that operate the platform on our behalf, limited to what they need.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information where required by applicable law, or in response to a valid request from a court, law-enforcement agency or regulator, and where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or to prevent fraud or harm.

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active and afterwards only for as long as needed for support, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Technical and security logs are kept for shorter periods.

You can request deletion of your TownDine account and associated personal data by emailing towndine.in@gmail.com from the email address or with the phone number registered on your account. We will verify the request and delete or anonymise your data, except records we must retain for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons. Deleting your account cannot reverse orders already delivered or payments already processed.

You can ask us to access, correct or update your personal information, withdraw consent for optional communications, or delete your account. You can also update your name, phone number and addresses from your account page at any time. Write to us at towndine.in@gmail.com for any request.

TownDine is not intended for children. Accounts and orders should be created and placed by adults, or by a minor only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian who takes responsibility for the order and payment. If we learn that we hold personal information of a child collected without such consent, we will delete it.

We use essential cookies and browser storage for sign-in sessions, cart contents and security, and optional analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but essential features such as sign-in and checkout may then not work correctly.

We use access controls, encrypted connections, role-based permissions and server-side validation to protect your information. However, no website, app or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please keep your sign-in details private and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of TownDine after that means you accept the revised policy.
